Schoolbot - A Child Tracking Utility App

Overview

School Bot is a mobile application that connects parents with their child’s school transport system, enabling them to locate their child and school bus at any given moment during their school bus route. Parents can track the live location of their child, driver’s information and also mark their stop.

User Flow

A user flow was made for all the given requirements. The application comprised of many actions which were leas by home screen option. Hence we decided to break the application into sub parts depending upon the use cases with each scenario. We could break the entire application into parent app, teacher app, driver app, operational app and finance portal.

Parent App

A complete and real-time connection between the bus, the school and the guardians/parents to have the location of the buses and kids up-to-date. It keeps Parents directly informed and notified easily of delays, whilst allowing school’s to manage and control emergency situations efficiently. Allows a driver to privately notify School administrator of Emergency events directly through customised push notifications.
